In his opening remark His. Excellency Dr Abdulla Almandous ( Consul General of the UAE in Lagos ) spoke about the UAE Government policy of Deeping the culture of tolerance among citizen and peoples of different culture in the country. He mentioned that the UAE has become a global model for tolerance and coexistence among peoples, where more than 200 nationalities from all countries of the world reside.
In a respectful environment that rejects extremism and emphasizes on the acceptance of the other.
He further mentioned the great efforts made by the UAE to support a culture of tolerance worldwide.
Mr. Imam Abdulhakeem Kosoko the Executive Secretary, Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSMWPB). Spoke about the importance of coexistence in the Islamic religion, and he mentioned examples of peaceful coexistence between Muslims and other religions throughout history.
Mr. Bayode Sr. Pastor of the Christ Ministry also contributed in the Seminar and spoke about the importance of love in promoting a culture of tolerance in society, He appreciated the UAE for its promotion of a culture of tolerance among different societies and religions as one of its kind to organized such.
The events was attended virtually by a number of people in Lagos and others state.
