His Excellency Salem Al Jabri,UAE Consul General in Lagos, participated in the inaugural Nigeria Aircraft Acquisition and Investment Summit (NAAIS), held on 1–2 April 2026 in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The summit was organized by the Nigerian Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development and brought together a wide range of stakeholders in the aviation sector, including global aircraft leasing companies, financiers, and policymakers, to discuss financing opportunities and challenges within Nigeria’s aviation industry.
The summit focused on developing sustainable solutions to address capacity gaps and enhance the capacity of Nigeria’s aircraft fleet through affordable leasing models, while also exploring investment opportunities in the operations of Nigerian airlines and the development of local airport infrastructure.
During the event, the Consul General met with H.E. Festus Keyamo, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the aviation sector.
