In the spirit of tolerance and human fraternity embodied by the holy month of Ramadan, the UAE Consulate General in Hong Kong hosted an Iftar banquet attended by a distinguished group of dignitaries, including representatives of diplomatic missions from friendly nations, Hong Kong government officials, representatives from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong, religious leaders, members of Islamic organizations, UAE students, and the Emirati community in Hong Kong.
H.E. Shaikh Saoud Ali Almualla, the UAE Consul General in Hong Kong, welcomed the attendees to an evening that brought together diverse segments of society, reflecting the values of giving, coexistence, and mutual understanding that the UAE embodies.
This year, the occasion took on a special significance as it coincided with the UAE’s Year of the Family, highlighting the shared values that unite humanity.
