On 10th May, 2023, His Excellency/ Sultan Mohamed Majed Al Ali – the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Romania met with Her Excellency/ Luminita Odobescu – State Adviser of the President of Romania for European Affairs and Foreign Policy, with the aim of conveying the invitation from His Highness/ Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan – President of the United Arab Emirates to His Highness/ Klaus Iohannis – President of Romania, to participate in the World Climate Action Summit, that will formally launch the 28th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28 UAE) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and which the United Arab Emirates will preside and host, at Expo City Dubai, from 30th November to 12th December, 2023.
