Foreign aid: Shipment of more than 400 tons of medical equipment from China to Romania

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Romania conducted the shipment of more than 400 tons of medical equipment from China to Romania, with four planes from "Emirates" Airlines. His Excellency Mr. Ludovic Orban, the Prime Minister of Romania and H.E. Bogdan Aurescu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, thanked the Government of the United Arab Emirates for this humanitarian initiative, as well as the UAE Ambassador to Romania, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah bin Saeed Al Matrooshi, for the efforts made by His Excellency, during the current crisis, which will support and empower thousands of medical professionals in Romania. This initiative comes within the frame of a series of aids that the United Arab Emirates decided to send to different countries of the world that witness the spread of the new coronavirus, as it aims at reinforcing the international efforts to reduce the spread of the virus.
