His Excellency Ahmed Al Hameli, the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, attended a virtual meeting with His Excellency Muhammad Al-Kashf, Member of the Federal National Council of the Emirates, Chairman of the UAE-Turkmen Parliamentary Friendship Group, and His Excellency Pater Bayliyev, Member of the Council of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Turkmen-UAE Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Their Excellencies, members of the Friendship Group from both sides.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Hameli, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan, met with His Excellency Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, UAE Ambassador conveyed to His Excellency Rashid Meredov greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Administration, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Hameli, the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, held an iftar banquet at his residence in the Turkmen capital, Ashgabat, in honour of some Turkmen businessmen on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the developing of investment and trade opportunities between the UAE and Turkmenistan were discussed.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Hamli, the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, held an iftar banquet in the presence of His Excellency Nur Muhammad Aman Nevisov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Turkmenistan for Health, Education and Sports Affairs, His Eminence Yalqab Khoja Guliyev, Mufti of Turkmenistan, and the ambassadors of Islamic countries in Turkmenistan.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Hameli, the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, attended the exhibition held on the occasion of the sixteenth anniversary of the founding of the Union of Industrialists and Businessmen in Turkmenistan.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, sent Emirati dates to His Excellency Serdar Berdymukhamedov, President of Turkmenistan.

His Highness Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Senate and Leader of the Turkmen Nation, received His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Office in the Turkmen capital, Ashgabat.

His Excellency Ahmed Alhameli, UAE ambassador to Turkmenistan, received His Excellency Mohammed Al Qubaisi, Vice President of the UAE Cycling Federation, Captain Suleiman Al Hammadi, Director of Al Wathba Team, and Dr. Hamad Alhameli, member of the team, in Ashgabat. During the visit, the ambassador and the Al-Wathba team made a sports tour with the Turkmen national team and the head of the Turkmen Cycling Federation in the streets of the capital. They inspected the race track in the Olympic Village, the recovery centre, the carpet museum and the horse complex. They met with senior officials in Turkmenistan's sports affairs and discussed joint bilateral cooperation with them. The ambassador and the team thanked His Excellency Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, for directing the Council of Ministers and concerned institutions to facilitate the visit, provide all services, secure tours and make the visit successful.

His Excellency Ahmed Alhameli, the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, attended the dinner banquet organized by the Israeli Embassy in Turkmenistan in a hotel at Ashgabat city, at the invitation of His Excellency Ismail Khaldi, the Israeli Ambassador to Turkmenistan. The Mufti of Turkmenistan and a number of heads of diplomatic missions also participated in the audience.

His Excellency Ahmed Alhameli, UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, met with His Excellency Wepa Hajiyev, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, His Excellency delivered a written message to His Excellency the Ambassador regarding bilateral relations. The two sides also discussed ways to develop relations and cooperation between the two countries.

His Excellency Ahmed Alhameli, UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, met with HE Mahri Bashimova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for International Organizations Affairs, at the Ministry's headquarters in Ashgabat. The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries within the framework of international organizations and participation in the COP 28 climate conference in Dubai.

His Excellency Ahmed Alhameli, Ambassador of the UAE to Turkmenistan, participated in the International Conference and Exhibition of Transport and Transit Corridors, which was held in Ashgabat from May 3-4. The Council of Ministers and a number of officials of the Government of Turkmenistan during their inspection tour inside the exhibition.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

His Excellency Ahmed Alhameli, the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, held an Iftar banquet in the presence of His Excellency Berdinyiaz Matiyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Eminence Wafaa Ishan Kuliyev, in front of the city of Ashgabat, diplomats from the Turkmen Foreign Ministry and ambassadors of Islamic countries in Turkmenistan. After Iftar, His Excellency the Ambassador delivered a speech on tolerance in the UAE.

With great sadness and sorrow, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan mourns the death of His Excellency President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and His Excellency Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the leader of the Turkmen nation, in the death of Mrs Ogulabad Berdimuhamedova. May God have mercy on the deceased and put her in peace. To Him, we shall return.
