Note: Please make sure that the validity period of your passport is more than six months.
Medicines are subject to drug and customs control in Japan; therefore, we recommend you to carry your medical report along with your medicine, to avoid any obstacles in customs at the airports. For more details, kindly visit the customs control agency of Japan.

• Or you can contact Tokyo Metro Health Services at 0081352858181 this service is available from 9 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday for residents of Tokyo only.

• Japanese government provides free Interpretation service for foreigners via phone between the patient and the treating physician. For this service you can call 0570099283, this service is only for residents of Tokyo, and it is available 24 hours a day.
• For Interpretation service in other Japanese cities, kindly contact 05034050397, this service is available from 10 am to 3 pm from Monday to Friday.
2. Renting luxury or sports cars is subject to certain conditions, especially in cases of car accident, car theft, or car breakdown, therefore we encourage you to read the terms and conditions carefully to avoid any misunderstand with rental companies.
3. Check external, internal and the mechanical condition of the car before renting the car.
4. Make sure that the car and passengers are insured when renting the car, and the insurance covers all accidents and injuries. Paying extra fees for insurance could prevent you from paying high bills in case of an accident.
5. Make sure that the sales representative informs you all the details of the rental contract before signing the contract to avoid any misunderstanding when you return the car.
6. It is very important to read the rental contract before signing, also ask the sales representative to clarify all terms and conditions of the contract. Once you sign the contract, you will be held legally responsible.
7. Make sure to obtain from the sales representative the necessary emergency numbers in case of a traffic accident, vehicle malfunction, or stolen vehicle.
8. Do not allow anyone to drive the vehicle, unless he/she is added on the rental contract. This is to avoid any troubles in case of car accident, if the driver is not included in the rental contract.
9. Respect the traffic laws and adhere to pay parking fees, highway fees and traffic fines to avoid any disputes with the rental company's policy.
10. keep your International Driving Permit with you at all times while driving the vehicle to avoid violating traffic laws. “Driving without a driving Permit " is a serious charge which it might lead to imprisonment in the worse circumstances.

2. Contact car rental company or the emergency numbers of the car rental company to advise you on what steps to take regarding the car accident. Since the vehicle and the driver are insured.
3. Make sure to receive the accident planning report from the police upon completion, which the rental company and the insurance company will need according to the terms of the rental contract.

1. Immediately visit the nearest Koban “Community Police Station” in the same area where you lost your belongings, because people who find lost items usually return them to the police station within the same area.
2. Make sure to report “Lost Property” at the police station, and get a copy of the report to follow up on your lost items.
3. The police report will help you issue a return document in case you lose your passport.

5. We encourage you to keep transportation receipt (for taxis, train, plane tickets), to facilitate the search for your personal belongings.
6. If you lost your credit card, contact customer service immediately to deactivate the card.
7. You can visit the Japan Police Agency website to find the locations of lost and found offices in different prefectures.
8. You can contact lost and found offices at major train stations in Tokyo.
9. In principle, lost and found items are kept at the Koban “community police station” for two weeks, if no one claims the item, the item will be transferred to the main lost and found center located at Iidabashi Station. You can contact Iidabashi Station at the following number 0570-550-142. The lost item is kept at the center for 3 months, if the item is not claimed within the duration, the ownership of the lost item will be transferred to Tokyo city.
10. While you are outside Japan, you can assign one of your friends residing in Japan to collect your lost belonging, kindly visit police stations to get more details.
Go directly to the nearest KOBAN community police station located in cities throughout Japan to report the lost items and to file a police report. In addition, we recommend you to contact the mission via emergency line 0097180024 to provide you with guideline and assistance.
• You can ask the police officer to contact the on-call lawyer “toban bengoshi” (it is under the Japan Federation of Bar Associations which consist of a list of lawyers who provide legal services to detainees, The first lawyer’s visit will be free of charge, and when the lawyer is appointed, the fee will be calculated according to the lawyer's evaluation of the case. 11. if the medication is consisted a Narcotics and precursor chemicals, we advise you to attest the original documents by the hospital or clinic then get the report attested by Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Japan. If the prescribed medicine not consist of Narcotics and precursor chemicals, you can take the medical report without attestation.

1. Apply To Whom It May Concern Certificate – License Data Verification at Ministry of Interior website
2. Once the certificate issued, kindly get it attested by MOFA UAE
3. Once you are done with step #2, you Visit MOFA UAE website to pay the attestation fees (Note: select country Japan, select mission UAE Embassy -Tokyo, origin of Document issued in UAE)
4. Once you are done with step #3 You may visit the Embassy bring the following:
• Original Attested Certificate To Whom It May Concern Certificate by UAE MOFA

• Original Passport
