The UAE Embassy organized a Mini Marathon of 5 and 8 km in Diplomatic Enclave of Islamabad on Saturday 27th February 2021 to honor and appreciate all members of health workers in Pakistan and the frontline heroes for their great efforts in containing the Covid-19 pandemic.
This sports event was witnessed the participation of more than 200 contestants from the Diplomatic and Pakistani community, amid preventive measures to ensure the safety and health of all attendees.
H.E. Hamad Obaid Alzaabi, the UAE Ambassador in Islamabad, honoured the winners of the first three positions in the 8 km and 5 km races and presented medals and souvenirs to all participants in the Marathon.
