The ambassador on the UAE to Ireland, his Excellency Mr. Sultan Al Ali, participated as the honored guest in the celebrations of Chanukah, also known as the festival of lights invited by the ambassador of Israel to Ireland, his Excellency Mr. Ophir Kariv on Thursday 17/12/2020.
The ceremony was organized by the leadership of the Jewish representative council at the synagogue of Dublin Hebrew congregation in Terenure.
The event was conducted in total accordance with covid 19 restrictions imposed by the government of Ireland with only 25 attendees.
However, it was broadcasted live via zoom streaming to hundreds of members of the Jewish community to Ireland and abroad and shared on twitter and instagram from the ministry of foreign affairs of Israel and from Mr. Alon Ushpiz, general director of the ministry of foreign affairs of Israel.
