UAE and World Organization for Animal Health sign agreement to establish office of the organization in the country

Under the agreement, the organization's representative office will be established in Abu Dhabi and the office will be given a separate legal status to carry out its functions in the UAE.
The important agreement aligns with the UAE’s efforts to ensure food safety, protect animals from epidemics and facilitate importation into the country. The office will work with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and other local authorities in the country, including the Abu Dhabi Authority for Agriculture and Food Safety, to combat epidemic diseases, prevent their spread and improve veterinary services and food safety.
