
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has received Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation and partnership between the UAE and the Republic of Türkiye and ways of advancing them for the best interest of the two countries and their people.
The ministers also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, including food security and energy, and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
His Highness congratulated Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on the resumption of the grain-export deal through the Black Sea to international markets, commending the significant efforts made by the Republic of Türkiye to continue the implementation of this deal that was signed last July in Istanbul, alongside Russia and Ukraine, and with the UN participation.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister, affirming the UAE's keenness to invest in the available opportunities and advance cooperation with the Republic of Türkiye in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State.
