
Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, Speaker of the Bahraini Council of Representatives, has that UAE and Bahrain have excellent relations in all areas and their cooperation is an example to follow while highlighting his country’s desire to further this cooperation, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain.
Al Mulla expressed his appreciation and pride at the deep bilateral ties and overall cooperation between the UAE and Bahrain while praising the coordination between the Federal National Council, FNC, and the Bahraini Council of Representatives, and their parliamentary cooperation in all regional and international conferences. He also highlighted Bahrain’s desire to exchange visits between the members and general secretariat of both parliaments, and to implement the directives of the wise leadership of both countries to achieve sustainable development and promote joint security.
He made this statement while receiving, in his office, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, in the presence of members of parliament, along with Majid Al Majid, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee, Mohammed Al Jawdar, Member of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee, and Ali Al Nuami, Minister Counsellor at the UAE Embassy.
Al Mulla stressed that the Bahraini parliament supports the work of Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan to promote and reinforce the close ties between the two countries while wishing him success and luck in performing his diplomatic duties and praising the UAE’s overall development.
Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan praised Bahrain’s achievements and unprecedented development, in light of the reforms and democratic process led by King Hamad while praising his wise initiatives that aim to reinforce their bilateral relations, promote economic development, and achieve the strategic security goals of the Arab region.
