The UAE Embassy in Berlin has organised an event in celebration of the centennial anniversary of the birth of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in the presence of representatives of the tourism and culture sectors in Germany as well as key civil society figures.
In his speech on the occasion, Ali Abdullah Al-Ahmad, UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, spoke about the efforts exerted by of the late Sheikh Zayed to build the modern state and the cultural boom being witnessed by the UAE since its establishment.
He also highlighted the leadership's vision to position the UAE among the best countries in the world in the coming years.
