The Chairman of Shura Council of Bahrain, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has received the newly appointed Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain.
Minister plenipotentiary at the UAE Embassy, Ali bin Yusuf Al-Nuaimi, attended the meeting.
Al-Saleh hailed the strong fraternal relations, cooperation and joint coordination in various fields between the two countries. He also praised the strong ties between the Shura Council of Bahrain and the UAE's Federal National Council. He also stressed the keenness on continuing work to boost coordination and cooperation between the two sides at all levels.
He also wished the diplomat good luck and success in his assignment to enhance the fraternal and historic ties between Bahrain and the UAE.
Sheikh Sultan extended thanks and appreciation to Al-Saleh for his determination to boost ties between the two countries and develop them into wider horizons. He also stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in the best interest of the two sides.
