H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Chairman of the Education and Human Resources Council (EHRC) and members of EHRC approved the "UAE Emiratisation Award", prepared by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
This came during the 13th meeting of the council held here at the ministry under the chairmanship of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed.
Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, said, "The award is part of the initiatives and strategic plan of the ministry, aimed at training national human resources to occupy job opportunities in the private sector."
He also stressed the award aimed at enhancing the contribution of the private sector to achieving the national agenda indicators, and providing an attractive work environment for national human resources, as well as promoting the culture of excellence and the spirit of healthy competition among the private sector institutions. It also promotes social and national responsibility, as well as develop partnership between the ministry and competent authorities.
Jameela bint Salem Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education, reviewed the role of non-profit educational institutions during the meeting, as well as the role of the board of trustees.
Amon others present were Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention and President of the Federal Authority of Government Human Resources, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, Najla bint Mohammed Al Awar, Minister of Community Development, Dr. Ahmad bin Abdulla Humaid Belhoul AlFalasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, Shamma bint Sohail Faris AlMazrui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Education Council, and Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director-General, Knowledge and Human Development Authority.
