UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Canadian delegation discuss parliamentary relations.
Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, yesterday received a Canadian parliamentary delegation chaired by Percy Downe, Member of the Senate of Canada.
The Canadian delegation is visiting the country as part of a programme to strengthen parliamentary relations between the two countries.
The meeting touched on regional and international latest developments along with issues of common concern. The parties also discussed means of enhancing cooperation and developing bilateral relations for the interest of both countries.
During the meeting, Dr. Gargash gave a presentation to the visiting delegation on bilateral relations and means of boosting them, highlighting the UAE's regional vision and its role in enhancing security with brotherly and friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by Masud Husain, Canadian Ambassador to the UAE, and a number of officials.
