UAE Charge d'Affaire meets Head of Austrian-UAE Friendship Society

Charge d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Austria, Badria Al Shehhi, has met Chair of the Austrian-UAE Friendship Society, Alexander Schauss, in the presence of Secretary-General of the Society, Walter Gerbautz, and member of the Vienna Parliament and the Vienna City Council, Omar Al-Rawi. 

During the meeting, they discussed ways of boosting the role that the society plays in enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries in all spheres, with a focus on economy, trade, technology and renewables, in which Austrian companies have excelled. They also discussed ways of boosting the role of the society in the coming period in cooperation with the UAE Embassy. 

It was one of periodical meetings the Embassy holds with the leadership of the society to benefit from the important social role it plays in building bridges of friendship, strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Austria and enhancing ties and friendship between their two peoples to serve common interests.
