
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, received the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Staffan de Mistura, who is on a visit to the UAE, at his office at the MoFA.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern and the developments in Syria.
They also exchanged views on the efforts being made by the United Nations to help all the Syrian people come out the current crisis, and the refugees in neighbouring countries in particular.
Assistant Foreign Minister for Security and Military Affairs, Faris Al Mazrouie, attended the meeting.
