Bahrain's Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning receives UAE Ambassador

Bahrain's Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdel Ridha Abdullah Khoury, praising the advanced level of the historic fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples in all fields fostered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and the UAE President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The minister welcomed the ambassador, wishing him success in boosting bilateral ties and assuring him of the ministry's full co-operation in bolstering co-operation and co-ordination. He praised the ambassador's efforts in bolstering the bilateral ties in the common interest of both peoples. He said the Bahraini-Emirati bonds are not confined in the diplomatic concept, affirming that the historic ties have been based on firm and closely-knit basis and solid bonds.

The ambassador has expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister for his good reception and discussion of matters that contribute to serving interests of both countries, affirming that the United Arab Emirates, as part of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), seeks to develop and boost these relations to the best levels and to increase the co-operation between both countries in all fields especially in the sectors concerning the Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning.
