Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Poland, Yousuf Eisa Al Saberi, recently participated in a regular meeting of the council of Arab ambassadors to Poland which discussed the issue of refugees in Poland, where society is divided on accepting Muslim refugees.

The Arab ambassadors intensified contacts with the Polish president and other officials to project the true and undistorted image of Islam and bolster the council's relations with the European country.

The meeting also touched upon the difficulty of getting visas to Poland and other EU members.

The United Arab Emirates participated in the meeting, chaired by Palestinian ambassador and dean of the Arab diplomatic corps, on invitation from the Libyan envoy.

Thanks to the country's persistent diplomatic efforts, Emirati citizens are exempted from having to obtain a Schengen visa to EU countries in advance.
