H.E. Yousef Abdullah Al Hayai serves as Consul of the United Arab Emirates in Munich. He has built an extensive professional career spanning diplomatic assignments at the UAE's missions abroad and a range of responsibilities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Head of the East Africa Section, serving from 2011 to 2014, where he contributed to strengthening bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and countries across East Africa while overseeing cooperation with the African Union. He subsequently joined the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Oslo, serving from 2014 to 2019, before transferring to the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Berlin, where he served from 2019 to 2022.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the United Arab Emirates University, a master's degree in International Leadership and Negotiation from the European University of Valencia in Spain, and a master's degree in Leadership, Management, and International Relations from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.
