About the Embassy

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates was opened in the Republic of Uganda on July 17, 2011 with residence in Kampala and non-resident to Kigali and Bujumbura at the time, until 2018 when a fully-fledged Embassy was opened in Kigali, that the Embassy remained up to date resident in Kampala and non-resident to Gitega-Burundi.

H.E. Abdalla Hassan AlShamsi is the Current Head of Mission of the UAE Embassy to the Republic of Uganda.
