The Ambassador of the UAE to Turkmenistan presents his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov
The two parties considered important aspects of cooperation in political, diplomatic, commercial, cultural and humanitarian fields. The two sides underlined mutual interest in further development of the established productive dialogue and discussed the issues of the bilateral partnership in the fields of energy, transport, communications, construction, agriculture and ecology.
The positive experience of cooperation as well as the importance of mutual support for international undertakings and initiatives within the framework of authoritative regional and international organizations, primarily the United Nations, were discussed separately.
The two parties underlined the importance of further development and strengthening of the ties between two states where there is solid potential for mutual implementation. Additionally, it was mentioned that Turkmenistan plans to take part in the World Exhibition “EXPO-2020” which will be held in Dubai.
Within the framework of the meeting, Ambassador Ahmed Al-Hay Al-Hameli presented the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with copies of his credentials and noted that he will make every effort for further expansion of Turkmen-Emirates relations.

The event was attended by university faculty, 270 students, and representatives from Turkmenistan’s agricultural and livestock sectors.

The UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan meets with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan
His Excellency Ahmed Al Hamli, UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, met with Her Excellency Mehri Bashimova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador delivered to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan an invitation from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, to His Excellency Sardar Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan, to participate in the United Nations Water Conference 2026, which will be hosted by the UAE next December. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
