Issuing a Return Document for Golden Visa Holders

About this service

This service allows holders of the UAE Golden Visa to obtain an electronic return document while they are outside the country in case their passport is lost or damaged.

It also allows them to apply for their family members (children under 18 years old), provided that the Golden Visa remains valid.

The visa holder must obtain a new passport immediately upon returning to the UAE.

Service process

  1. Registration

    Log in with UAE Pass.

  2. Submit an application
    Attach the required supporting documents and submit the application.
  3. Receiving the returning document
    Receive the return document via email.

Conditions of Use

  • The service is limited to holders of the UAE Golden Visa who have a valid residence permit and passport.
  • Applications are accepted for dependents under the age of 18 only.
  • The return document is intended for a single use only and remains valid for 7 days from its date of issuance.
  • UAE GoldenVisa holders must commit to obtain a new passport immediately upon their return, in coordination with their respective mission in the UAE.
