H.E. Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the UAE, paid an official visit to Georgia, reaffirming the strong and friendly relations between the two countries.
During the visit, H.E. Al Hajeri and accompanying delegation met with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili; Minister of Justice Paata Salia; Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze; Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili; and Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Genadi Arveladze.
The meetings focused on bilateral relations, opportunities to further deepen cooperation, and the importance of ongoing and forthcoming UAE investment projects in Georgia. Regional developments, including developments in the Middle East and Georgia’s role in the South Caucasus, were also discussed.
