The Ambassador

Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Georgia H.E. Ahmed Ebrahim Alnuaimi

H.E. Ahmed Alnuaimi serves as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Georgia. His diplomatic career includes postings in Europe and South America, as well as roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters.

He began his diplomatic career in the Ministry’s Department of Economic Affairs, where he served from 2007 to 2008. From 2009 to 2013, he served at the UAE Embassy in Brasília, Brazil. During this period, he was also a member of the team supporting the UAE’s bid to host the headquarters of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
From 2013 to 2015, he served in the Ministry’s Department of Arab Affairs. In 2015, he was appointed Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna, a position he held until 2022.

H.E. Ahmed Alnuaimi holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and diplomas in diplomatic studies from American University in Washington, DC, and the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research.
