H.E. Abdulrahman Ali Al Neyadi has served as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Canada since December 2024. He brings extensive diplomatic and professional experience gained through a distinguished career during which he has held several leadership positions and undertaken strategic responsibilities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters and in the UAE's diplomatic missions abroad.
Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, he served as Director of the Policy Planning Department and Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also served as Senior Specialist to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, contributing to the development and advancement of a number of the UAE's foreign policy initiatives and priorities.
On the diplomatic front, he oversaw the Political and Economic Sections at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Ottawa, Canada, from 2012 to 2025, where he played an important role in advancing bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Canada across a wide range of fields.
H.E. Abdulrahman Al Neyadi holds a postgraduate degree in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
