Major street in Grozny named after Mohamed bin Zayed

The President of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, inaugurated one of the main streets in the capital, Grozny, to be named after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. In a speech during the opening ceremony - which was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Al Jaber, the UAE ambassador to the Russian Federation - the Chechen president stressed the distinguished relations between the leadership of the two countries, and his special appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, praising the human qualities and generosity of His Highness. Kadyrov explained that, in appreciation of His Highness's efforts to consolidate relations between the two friendly countries, it was decided to name one of the central and vital streets in the Chechen Republic in his name, in appreciation and gratitude for the support provided by His Highness for development projects to help the Chechen people in light of what the world is witnessing as a result of the Corona pandemic crisis. For his part, Ambassador Al-Jaber thanked the Chechen leadership, praising this generous gesture from President Kadyrov, stressing the appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the relations between the United Arab Emirates, the Chechen Republic and the Russian Federation. The streets of the capital, Grozny, were decorated with the flags of the United Arab Emirates, the Russian Federation and the Chechen Republic.
