UAE nationals are granted a 30-day visa on arrival for tourism purposes.
Travelers must hold a passport or travel document with a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) that is valid for at least one month from the date of arrival.
• A confirmed return or onward ticket.
• A prepaid reservation at a registered accommodation.
• Sufficient funds to cover their stay in the Maldives, or
• A valid sponsorship visa approved in advance by Maldives Immigration.
All travelers arriving in the Maldives must complete the IMUGA Traveler Declaration online. The declaration is free of charge and must be submitted within 96 hours (four days) prior to arrival.
