The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) offers a Digital Attestation Service to streamline and secure the authentication of official documents. This service complies with national and international standards, making it quicker and easier for individuals, businesses, and organizations to obtain valid attestations. This service is offered through various UAE embassies around the world and applies to documents issued outside the UAE.

How to Apply:
Please note that the physical document will be required to issue the digital attestation.
1. Log in to the MoFA Website using UAE Pass – Select Attestation Service under the Services tab.
2. Select Country – Choose UK for documents issued outside the country.
3. Submit the Application – Complete the digital form and proceed to payment.
4. Documents Collection – A MoFA-approved service provider will contact you to pick up the original documents.
5. Digital Attestation Issued – You will receive an email with a copy of your document digitally attested by the UAE Embassy and by MOFA. This digital document is ready for use within UAE.
6. Documents Return – Your original documents will be returned to you via the service provider.
I’ve applied for attestation on the website, what are the next steps?
1. After completion of payment, you will receive an email from our service provider with an air way bill number and pick-up schedule. If the address is incomplete, they will contact you for the missing details.
2. You must print the air way bill, attach it to the documents, and ensure they are ready for collection by the courier partner.
3. Status updates on the various stages of the application process will be sent to your registered email.
4. Upon completion of the application, the applicant will receive an email notification confirming the return of their documents, with a scheduled delivery date. An AWB number will also be provided to track the delivery of the documents.
What happens if my documents do not meet the required terms and conditions?
If submitted documents fail to comply with the specified terms and conditions, the application will be rejected. The attestation fee will be automatically refunded. However, service fee (which includes delivery) will not be refunded. Original documents will be returned.
You can re-submit your documents once terms and conditions are met.
Can I send non-UK, or non-Icelandic documents to the UAE Embassy in London?
