To attest educational certificates, applicants must:
Have the document translated into English or Arabic by a certified translator.
Have the translated document notarized by a Notary Public.
Obtain authentication from the Governor's Office or District Governor's Office (Valilik/Kaymakamlık).
Submit the documents to the Consulate General on working days between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

 

What are the requirements for attesting marriage and birth certificates?

Obtain the certificate in the official multilingual format issued by the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Registration and Nationality (Nüfus Müdürlüğü).
Have the document authenticated by the Governor's Office or District Governor's Office.

General Requirements for Attestation

To complete the attestation process, applicants must:
Submit the original document together with a notarized copy.
Ensure the document has been officially translated into English or Arabic by a sworn translator, with the translation notarized.
Obtain authentication from the Governor's Office or District Governor's Office, and from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs where applicable.
For commercial documents, obtain authentication from the relevant Chamber of Commerce before authentication by the Governor's Office or District Governor's Office.


How can I convert a UAE driving license into a Turkish driving license?

Applicants may apply directly to the Consulate General by submitting:

The original UAE driving license.
Proof of legal residence in Türkiye.
The Consulate General will complete the required procedures.

No. Holders of Turkish Service Passports (Grey Passports) are exempt from the visa requirement and may stay in the United Arab Emirates for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

What is the minimum passport validity required to travel to the UAE?

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your departure or the expiry of your intended stay.
