The UAE Consulate General in the HKSAR took part in the Asian Ethnic Cultural Performances 2023, part of the inaugural Asia+ Festival organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The Consulate presented a cultural booth with traditional majlis setting and showcased items related to Emirati heritage, such as utensils for making Arabic coffee, as well as providing henna and Arabic calligraphy art experiences for visitors. The event also featured a traditional costume exhibition, in which the elegance of Emirati thobe and abaya could be appreciated by members of the public.
