Khalifa Shaheen Almarar Leads UAE Delegation to 163rd Ordinary Session of Arab League Council at Ministerial Level
The Ministerial Council approved all items on the agenda, most notably the item on joint Arab action, the report of the Secretary-General of the Arab League on the activities of the General Secretariat between the 162nd and 163rd sessions, and the draft agenda of the 34th Arab Summit, which will be held in Baghdad.
It also approved the draft resolutions related to the item on the Palestinian cause and the Arab-Israeli conflict, as well as the agenda item on Arab affairs and national security, which includes several draft resolutions concerning Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon, in addition to Iran’s occupation of the three islands - Greater and Lesser Tunbs, and Abu Musa - that belong to the UAE.
