The reception, held at the headquarters of the UAE's permanent mission to the UN, was attended by several heads of state and government, foreign ministers from Gulf, Arab and other foreign countries, along with senior officials from international organisations and members of the UAE's official delegation to the UNGA.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the attendees, affirming the UAE's commitment to building bridges of cooperation and partnership with sisterly and friendly countries for the stability and prosperity of peoples and societies.
He expressed his wishes for success and constructive discussions for all participants in the meetings of UNGA 79 in New York, stressing the UAE's pride in its partnership with the United Nations and its various institutions and programmes.
