UAE Ambassador to Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay meets Director of Mercosur Administrative Secretariat
His Excellency Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, UAE Ambassador to the Argentine Republic and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Paraguay, met with Ambassador Bernardino Hugo Saguier Caballero, Director of the Administrative Secretariat of the Southern Common Market (Mercosur), wherein His Excellency stressed the important role Mercosur plays in foreign trade at the regional and global levels.
His Excellency Al Qamzi discussed with Ambassador Caballero the advantages of the UAE economy and its geographical location, which make it an international logistics center for export and re-export to the Middle East, Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and East Africa, pointing out that the UAE maintains strong relations with key regional and international trade organizations.
Both sides underscored the importance of enhancing opportunities for joint cooperation between the UAE and Mercosur members to bolster multilateral relations.
