On behalf of the UAE President, Noura Al Kaabi attends the inauguration of the President of Argentina

On behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, Her Excellency Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State, attended the inauguration ceremony of His Excellency Javier Milei as President of the Republic of Argentina, in Buenos Aires, accompanied by His Excellency Saeed Alqemzi, UAE ambassador to Argentina.
H.E. Al Kaabi conveyed His Highness UAE President’s regards to the newly-appointed Argentine President, and expressed the wishes of the UAE’s leaders and the nation for further success and prosperity. H.E. emphasized the deep-rooted relations between the two nations that derive on solid friendship and mutual respect, and affirmed the UAE leadership’s keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation across different fields of common interest that would benefit the two nations.
 
For his part, H.E. Javier Milei expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude for the UAE’s participation in the presidential inauguration and swearing-in ceremony, highlighting his eagerness to expand bilateral of cooperation and collaboration.
 
Notably, diplomatic ties between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Argentina trace back to 1974. Over recent years, several bilateral agreements and Memorandums of Understanding on taxes, investments, and visa exemptions have been signed, in addition to partnerships in the fields of food, agriculture, trade, and sport, aimed at encouraging greater cooperation between the two countries.
