President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received Faure Gnassingbé, President of the Togolese Republic, who is visiting the country to participate in the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which will begin tomorrow at Expo City Dubai.
The two leaders reviewed relations between the two countries and opportunities to expand cooperation, especially in strategic areas that support the developmental aspirations of both countries.
The meeting also addressed a number of issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
