President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the Medal of Independence of the First Order on Francesca Elisabeth Mendes Escobar, Ambassador of Mexico to the UAE, in recognition of her contributions to enhancing UAE-Mexico relations in various fields.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presented the medal to the Mexican Ambassador during their meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Abdullah wished the Ambassador further success in performing her duties, and commended her role in boosting the bilateral relations between the UAE and Mexico.
For his part, Escobar expressed her thanks and appreciation to the UAE President, praising his wise leadership approach. She also thanked all the UAE government entities for the cooperation they showed her, commending their role in strengthening relations between their countries.
