Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, headed a coordination meeting of Arab permanent representatives held today at the Arab League headquarters, to prepare for the 16th Arab-China Cooperation Forum.
In his statement on the sidelines of the meeting, Khalid Al Habbas, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League for International Political Affairs, said that today’s meeting aimed to establish a joint Arab vision for the 16th edition of the forum, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on 17th and 18th June.
He added that a strategic dialogue between both sides will be held during the forum while explaining that today’s meeting discussed the recommendations of senior officials from a related meeting, as well as the Arab side’s logistical and organisational preparations.
Al Habbas further added that the recommendations include forming a consensus on many key issues related to Arab-Chinese cooperation, such as the Palestinian cause, the crises in several Arab countries, combatting terrorism, and economic and social cooperation.
