Edward Kiwanuka Sekandi, Vice President of Uganda, offered Abdulrahim Obaid Saeed Al Falahi, Acting Charge D’Affaires at the UAE Embassy in Kampala, an appreciation shield and certificate of appreciation, in recognition of his efforts to reinforce the overall cooperation and friendship between the UAE and Uganda.
Sekandi honoured Al Falahi during a special ceremony that was held in his office, which was attended by officials and media representatives Sekandi praised the UAE’s humanitarian and charitable efforts to support the Ugandan people while thanking Al Falahi on behalf of the people of Uganda for delivering aid to remote areas. He also praised the role of the embassy in supporting humanitarian and charitable activities in the country.
Al Falahi expressed his happiness at the honouring, which also honours the UAE’s leadership and people while stressing that it will be a motivation to reinforce the cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
