The UAE Embassy in Khartoum continued implementation of the Iftar Programme in Sudan, which is provided by the Emirates Red Crescent, in presence of Hatem Hassan Bakhit, Minister of Presidency and Director of Sudan President's Offices, Mohammed Tawfik, Minister of State at the Council of Minister and Hamad Mohammed Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to Khartoum.
The launching of the programme saw a convoy of 40 trucks, loaded with foodstuff, heading to a number of Sudanese provinces to serve over 40,000 beneficiaries.
Ambassador Al Junaibi said the UAE leadership is keen on strengthening bonds of cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.
