Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail received today Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC Group), in the presence of Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt .
The Egyptian Prime Minister emphasised the strong and distinguished relations and fraternal bonds between the two countries and peoples in the light of the desire of the two countries' political leaderships to maintain permanent consultations regarding regional issues and ways to support joint cooperation.
Dr. Al Jaber conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the UAE's leadership and people to the Egyptian people and leadership, while stressing the keenness of the UAE's wise leadership to solidifying ties with Egypt in all fields, especially in the economic domain.
Egypt's Cabinet, in a press release, said that the meeting discussed cooperation in areas of oil and gas industries and proposals for increasing UAE investments in Egypt in this field, which would contribute to enhancing bilateral cooperation in the oil refining, petrochemicals and liquefied natural gas industries, in light of the attention paid by the Egyptian government to this sector, which is deemed the driving force that ensures the requirements of the industry.
