The United Arab Emirates,UAE, today participated in the meeting of the Arab League's Economic and Social Council, which held in Saudi capital, Riyadh, to prepare for the 29th Arab Summit in Saudi Arabia next Sunday.
The UAE delegation was led by Mohammed Saleh Shelwah, Advisor to the Minister of Economy, who said the preparatory meeting discussed the economic and social file which will be submitted to the pan-Arab meeting and a report on Arab economic, social and developmental work.
Other issues on the agenda include Arab strategy for disaster risk reduction 2030, Arab SME charter and social and economic impacts on refugee host countries.
