UAE Consul General in Los Angeles accepts Egypt Cancer Network's Highest Humanitarian Award.

​Abdulla Alsaboosi, Consul General of the UAE in Los Angeles, has accepted the Egypt Cancer Network's Highest Humanitarian Award on behalf of Yousef Mana'a Saeed Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States of America, for all the support provided to the children of Hospital 57357, also known as The Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt.

The award was presented by Dr. Hisham El Seify, Egypt Cancer Network President, Dr. Mohamed El-Erian, and Dr. Hala Sarhan during a ceremony celebrating the network's 10th anniversary. Also in attendance was Mahmoud Kabil, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to the Middle East and North Africa.

Hospital 57357 is a leading advocate for positive change in fighting childhood cancer through innovation and global collaboration. "The UAE has been a strong supporter of Hospital 57357 and its mission to provide free first-class treatment and care to children from all over the world," Alsaboosi said, adding, "it is great to hear my country is supporting Africa’s first proton therapy centre in Hospital 57357 for the treatment of cancer."

In addition, the UAE understands the key to a prosperous future is investing in our youngest generations through championing children’s health issues.
