UAE Ambassador to Lebanon honours winners of Arab Reading Challenge.

Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, honoured the top 10 winners of the Arab Reading Challenge, ARC, for 2017, on Wednesday, launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The ceremony was attended by Farouq Yaraq, Director-General of the Lebanese Education Ministry, Ayman Al Jarrah, Assistant Secretary-General for the ARC in Dubai, as well as Lebanese educationists and officials from the UAE embassy.

After handing certificates to the winning students, Ambassador Al Shamsi said the ARC complements the UAE's approach to motivating young generations to widen their knowledge and cultural horizons.
