UAE participates in GCC Ministerial Council meeting in Riyadh.

The UAE delegation participated in the 142nd session of the GCC Ministerial Council at the headquarters of the Secretariat-General in Riyadh on Thursday.

Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, led the UAE delegation at the meeting in the presence of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, for Arab States and GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.

The UAE delegation included Fares Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Security and Military Affairs, Ahmed Ali Al Balooshi, Director of the GCC at the Foreign Affairs Ministry and International Cooperation, and Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Al Dhahiri, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The event reviewed issues related to GCC common work. The delegations were also briefed about progress in implementing resolutions of the GCC Higher Council and the appropriate decisions taken.
