Ethiopian State Minister for Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Aklilu Hailemichael, discussed on Wednesday with Ghazi Abdullah Salem Al Mehri, the UAE Ambassador to Ethiopia, ways to strengthen the economic cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting held at the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two parties also discussed ways to increase the volume of investments between the two countries.
The Ethiopian minister stressed the keenness of his country to revamp cooperation with the UAE in all fields, especially in increasing the volume of the UAE- Ethiopian investments. He pledged that his government was ready to do what it takes in terms of offering more incentives and best opportunities to Emirati investors.
The UAE ambassador said that his country was looking forward to increasing the UAE investments in Ethiopia, given good relations between the two countries, and the incentives offered by Ethiopia to the Emirati investors.
