Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, accompanied by Abdullah Khalifa Al Ghafli, Director of the UAE Project to Assist Pakistan, PAP, has inspected a number of UAE-funded health projects in Pakistan.
The projects are in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the follow up of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The tour included visits to the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital located near the Central Hospital, Saidu Sharif, Swat district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Hospital in the South Waziristan, and Bajaur Hospital district of the tribal areas.
During the visit, Al Zaabi met a number of commanders of the Pakistani Army, top officials in the local government, and the population. He was briefed by Al Ghafli on the Emirati humanitarian and development projects, which have been implemented by the UAE to carry out the directives of the wise leadership to support and develop underprivileged areas in Pakistan in various health, educational, infrastructure and water supply sectors.
Al Zaabi praised the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the follow up of Sheikh Mansour to provide support through development and humanitarian initiatives for the people of Pakistan.
