The United Arab Emirates has condemned the terrorist attack which took place in Manhattan, New York, on Tuesday, killing eight people and injuring 11 others.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, expressed its strong condemnation of the terrorist act, reaffirming the UAE's strong position in rejecting various forms of violence and terrorism which target everyone without discrimination and regardless of race or religion.
The Ministry reiterated the UAE's solidarity with the US Government in facing violence and extremism, and renewed its call for the international community to unite to confront this serious scourge which threatens the security and stability of all countries of the world, and eradicate it from its roots.
In its statement, the Ministry also extended its condolences to the US Government, the American people, and the families of the victims of this heinous crime, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
