UAE participates in AL's meeting

The UAE has participated in the 146th meeting of the Arab League's Council at the permanent representatives' level at the League's secretariat-general in Cairo.

H.E.Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, led the UAE delegation at the meeting.

Najib Al Munaif, Tunisian Permanent Representative to the Arab League, whose country holds the rotating presidency of the council, said his country would join hands with other member states to address pressing challenges and issues facing the Arab region.

''The Palestinian cause will top the agenda of the current session,'' he added.

The meeting discussed a range of Arab issues, particularly in Yemen and Syria.
